Such a lovely spot, with a beautiful pool, clean rooms, a welcome drink and snack, and really friendly staff. Their English varied, but everyone tried to help. The hot water was a bit hit and miss, though that seems common in lots of places and wasn’t a deal breaker. The spa was clean and comfortable, with good prices. We had one of the best massages in Bali here, listening to the waves, but another time the massage was just okay.

The hotel is amazing, with a good seaside view and really good coral. We’ve visited many places in Bali, but this place had the most bugs at night. You can’t sit over dinner for long and have to eat very fast, and you can’t really enjoy a meal alone. Lunch and dinner are good and very reasonably priced. Be ready to say “no thanks” to the johan fishermans family about 20 times in a day.

Bunutan Beach is just 10 steps from your room at this great spot in the main Amed coastal area. There’s a cosy garden, a big pool, and a restaurant serving nicely prepared meals. The staff are friendly, and you don’t need to leave this peaceful gem for a spa. Thanks for a great time 🙏

Staying at Sunshine Bungalow was a really pleasant experience. It’s a small place with only a few rooms, which I liked. The pool water was warm, probably because the weather was so hot then. All the staff were very friendly and helped with everything I needed, including giving me a motorbike ride to dinner. There’s a 24-hour mini mart right across from the bungalow.

The staff were wonderfully welcoming, and both the room rates and food prices felt reasonable. It’s right beside the beach with the sea in front, and the area is calm and peaceful. We could snorkel and try other water activities nearby. The air conditioning worked really well. The shower pressure was low, but if that doesn’t bother you, this place is a gem. There’s also an Indomaret close by for most everyday needs.
