I’ve been here twice now, and it’s always a pleasure to return. The sea is right in front, and there’s great snorkeling almost from your room. It’s beautiful, and you can see in the pictures. Just watch out for the corals at low tide. The wavebreakers keep the water comfortable, without big waves. The staff are friendly and kind. It’s a family business, and dear Lani helped me with everything. She brought my breakfast when I wanted it, rather than at the time set by the rules. It’s a bit noisy in the first part of the day right now because of the government project along the Candidasa seashore, but that’s not their fault.

You get great value for the room, and the views are awesome. Sitting by the beach to watch the sunset and dolphins was lovely. The parking area is small, and the place is far from anywhere, so plan ahead before staying here. Breakfast is either fried rice or fried noodles, and I only got soap, no other toiletries, so bring your own. They also have a dog, so watch your slippers 😂

The room smelled of mildew or mold, and there’s no bathroom vent. Wi-Fi didn’t work in the room, so I had to go outside to use it, and reception was bad. Getting there was quite a trip. The woman was nice, but nobody checked on us. The towels smelled odd, and the bed and pillows were uncomfortable. Meh.

This family-run hotel is adorable, right on the water, and everyone was so friendly and helpful. I had the best massages here and slept like a baby at the water’s edge. Thanks for a lovely stay. I’ll definitely be back ✨✨✨❤️

The bed was clean, there was hot water, and the service was good enough in that laid-back island way. But the place was so unkempt, with unwashed windows and floors, and flies on the breakfast fruit. I’m okay with Motel 8, but this was rough. Agree on a taxi price before riding with the guy who works there, because he’ll quadruple it. From town to the hotel is 30k rp per receptionist.
