Aster Apartment Bali

What stood out most for me was how kind and helpful everyone working there was. They really looked after what I needed, and I’m grateful to Aster for making the stay memorable. 💕 I stayed at Aster Apartment in November. It’s a new building with lovely design and comfortable furniture. There’s a rooftop pool with a bar in the pool, plus a rooftop restaurant. Everything I ate there was delicious, and the prices weren’t high. The location’s also great, about a five-minute walk to the beach, with lots of shops and restaurants around.

I’d planned to stay five nights, but left after three because nothing improved and the place didn’t feel livable. I wouldn’t recommend staying here. I also can’t say whether the bathroom mold is dangerous. The room was extremely dirty when I arrived. I kept finding hair in drawers, on shelves, on furniture, and in places that looked as if they hadn’t been cleaned for a long time. New dirt seemed to show up whenever I opened something. After I complained, staff came to clean. They were polite and seemed to mean well, but the cleaning was only superficial. There was still grime, staining, and neglected dirt that a quick sweep couldn’t fix. The bathroom also smelled strongly and unpleasantly. Perfume seemed to be covering the odor when I arrived, but a few hours later it was obvious the smell was still there and made the room almost unbreathable.

I’d stayed here before and came back for a longer stay. It’s good value, and my upgraded room had plenty of space, a washer and dryer, and a water fountain. Breakfast was free, too, so there wasn’t much to worry about. You can get to plenty of food and drink easily, and the beach is nearby. Komang and the rest of the staff were great. I’ll be back again soon.

The location was a real plus, close to the beach, La Brisa, The Lawn, Tonic, and lots more. Reception staff were amazing. Breakfast was basic, though the freshly made omelettes were the best choice. We had a clean, nicely presented three-bedroom apartment with a very large main room and a washer. The beds and pillows were excellent. The rooftop was good, but the sun loungers were terribly uncomfortable for everyone.
