Casa Batu Mejan

We couldn’t wait to leave this villa. We booked eight nights in mid December, but the water stopped on our second last night, leaving us without water for over 24 hours, and one bathroom never worked again. When heavy rain came on checkout morning, water poured through several parts of the ceiling, across the bathroom and onto toiletries, and down the wardrobe onto our clothes and suitcases. There were already roof leak stains in every room, and rats made noise in the ceiling every night. The bedrooms smelled strongly of mould, the bathrooms smelled of sewage, and the cleaning wasn’t professional, with hair clumps in the shower drains. One bedroom’s AC leaked over the bed and floor, making the room unusable for two days until a technician fixed it. We reported the damp and mould to the property manager through Booking.com on day one and asked to leave early with a refund, but got no response. It seems like a very poor build, and the roof and plumbing need to be redone before anyone else stays. If those issues were fixed, the location is good and quiet, the beds are comfortable, the rooms are spacious and modern, the staff are nice, and there’s 24-hour security. Good luck!

A cozy place to stay around Canggu 🥰❤️

The location is convenient, and the staff are friendly, attentive, and ready to help.

The pool is just the right size, and the new villas are spacious and feel quite safe. They’re in a great part of Canngu, set back from the street.
