Chesa Canggu

The lounge was one of my favorite spots, stylish but still cozy, and a nice place to relax, work, or just enjoy the atmosphere. The room was spotless and comfortable, and cleanliness throughout Chesa Hotel Canggu was top-notch. Everything felt fresh and well looked after. I felt genuinely welcomed from the moment I arrived, especially as a local guest, which meant a lot to me. Every interaction with the kind, professional staff felt sincere, and they went out of their way to make my stay easy. I loved the whole experience and would absolutely return. The room was cool, clean, and ready for me when I arrived, and the bed was very comfortable. It had plenty of space, a large TV, mini fridge, clothing storage, air conditioning, and lots of power points. The bathroom had a rain shower plus a separate movable shower head, and toiletries were provided in case you forgot your toothbrush. Chesa is peaceful despite being so handy for exploring Canggu. The beach and a good range of cafes and restaurants are only a couple of minutes away on foot, and there’s a rice field across the street. Staff were lovely and greeted me with a smile and by name each time. I had plenty of conversations with the team and felt very welcome, and their English was great. I visited in rainy season, and umbrellas were easy to get for walking around the hotel or using during the day. There are two pools with lots of seating. Being able to order food and drinks from Thara restaurant to the pool or room was great. I’d definitely recommend Chesa Canggu.

The hotel is under three years old, I think, and the facilities feel fresh. We especially liked the lounge, with its games and work areas, and having a choice of two pools. Room service breakfast was really tasty, the amenities were complete and good quality, and every corner looked great. All the staff were so accommodating. It’s also well located near some excellent cafes and restaurants, especially for vegans. The stay felt like very good value for what we paid, and we’d definitely come back.

We enjoyed a cozy, comfortable, and relaxing Bali stay here. The hotel is clean, well maintained, and in a great location, and it really does feel like a hidden gem in Canggu. The pool was always clean, and the staff were so kind and welcoming. We stayed last year and came back again this year, which turned out to be the right choice. We’d gladly return again.
