Fer Vio

Three construction sites surround this villa, and the noise and dust made my stay miserable. Work began at 6 a.m. every day, weekends included, with two tractors starting up each morning. The walls shook and I woke at six daily. Workers continued until 5 p.m., then played fairly loud music and relaxed until 9. It only got quiet after 10 p.m. I couldn't open the windows, day or night, and the construction noise came through even when the doors were shut. Dust covered the villa inside and out. Even with daily cleaning, the pool, loungers, and my things would be coated again within a couple of hours. The yard was too dirty to relax in, the air around the house was awful, and I had to wash my bike before every ride. I have asthma and suffered throughout my stay. There was no peace, quiet, or clean air. The workers' wooden houses are right beside the pool, and because the villa sits on a hill, they can see everything happening there. I think it was very rude of the owner not to tell guests about the construction. I definitely wouldn't recommend staying here next year, until the work around the house is finished. I'm attaching photos taken from the villa grounds.

After Villa Sevilla, this is the best house in the world.

Really beautiful.
