I spent a couple of years here as a long-term guest, and the staff, maintenance team, and owners all deserve a huge thumbs up. They made me feel welcome and looked after for my whole stay. The team feels like one big family, patient, understanding, kind, and professional. 🙏💚

The location is great, close to the sea. Rooms were clean, and the staff were welcoming and friendly.

I didn’t sleep much here. Dogs and the neighbors made noise all night, and the room itself was very dirty, with a hat and lots of bugs under the bed. There’s no air con. I saw the place describe itself as eco friendly, but having to run two fans constantly just to feel a little cool didn’t seem very eco friendly to me. The room is also a long way from the place where you check in, so without a scooter I wouldn’t feel like going over to use the main facilities. I’d only suggest staying here if you’re desperate for an inexpensive room in a good location.

I booked for two weeks but left after a few days because I couldn’t deal with the bugs in my room at Kris Kos, in the little alley near the rice paddies. Big cockroaches, spiders, and even crabs crawled into my mosquito net at night, far too many for me. The place is cute and authentic, but the room really wasn’t nice in my opinion. Most of my stars are for what you can use at serenity 1: a lovely breakfast, gorgeous pool, and friendly staff.
