The homestay is clean and cute, but the owner’s conduct really spoiled it for me. He made guests feel uncomfortable and seemed interested in talking only when money was involved. When we invited a few friends over for beers and cards, he treated it as a “party.” The next day he tried to introduce a rule charging for every visitor, while shouting “NO PARTY.” I’m not someone who parties, and I’m careful about how I affect other people. I’d still like to meet others and socialize without being made to feel I’m doing something wrong. If that matters to you too, I’d look elsewhere.
