Wow... 1. You get the feel of real Bali here, away from the crowds and among rice fields. Biking around was a pleasure, with all that quiet and greenery, plus that special Asian light. 2. The local design is nice and comfortable, with real comfort but far from the modern look of the new Bali. 3. The swimming pool is large. 4. The staff are fantastic. 5. The sunsets are incredible. 6. Echo Beach isn’t really far away. 7. The downside is that getting to Seminyak takes an hour in traffic.

We loved spending a week here as a family of four. The gardens are beautifully maintained, and the huge pool was a dream. Both houses are furnished beautifully and have wonderful bathrooms. We slept so well in the beds, which have mosquito nets, always a plus in Bali. The staff looked after us really well from check-in through check-out. They maintain the villas, do the dishes and put fresh offerings at the house temples every day. That was beautiful to watch, and the incense smelled wonderful. They were also there to help if we had a problem. The location is excellent, with several good restaurants and the beautiful black sand beach within walking distance. It’s a beautiful, magical place, and we can easily imagine staying again. Highly recommend.
