The location is superb, with a food stall right beside the hotel at night, a minimarket within walking distance, and a park with lots of food stalls about a 10-minute walk away. It's clean, and the price is very reasonable. This is a budget hotel in the Ciamis highlands, so most rooms don't have air conditioning; only the deluxe rooms do. The hotel has been operating since 1958, and it feels dated. Judging by the furniture, the facilities may still be much the same.

Hotel Budi Famili is a heritage stay in Ciamis, West Java, Indonesia, with a chance to explore its heritage experience and concept. Ciamis City is noted as the clean city in ASEAN.

I stayed overnight in Purwokerto yesterday, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The rates are affordable, and the location is especially convenient, close to the station.
