Rumah Mumu Kost & Homestay by OYO Rooms

The property itself was pretty standard for the price, but the bathroom was dirty and the staff weren't very friendly. The bigger problem was the OVO booking: I paid 190k for dates 3-5, supposedly with a promotion, but the system recorded it for dates 1-2, just one day. So there wasn't really a promo, and 190k was the normal price. OYO also changed my double bed to a single without telling me. The property manager wasn't really at fault for that, OYO was the one that messed up. When I asked for a refund, they told me to wait 45 working days. Ridiculous.

The view is still lovely and peaceful, though the place is far from the city. The male staff member was friendly and easy to talk to, but the female staff member was rude when I asked about the room. The photos looked very different from what I found. The shower wasn't working, the bathroom was dirty, the tub water hadn't been cleaned, and there was a bad smell. The sheets and pillowcases smelled and didn't seem to have been changed. I saw lots of hair on the bed. When I asked, the female staff member rudely insisted the bedding had been changed, but I could smell and see that it hadn't. I ended up putting the blanket down and sleeping without one. I meant to stay two nights but left after one. Please improve the cleanliness if you want guests to come back.

After a long trip, we arrived to find the guard casually telling us they hadn't worked with online booking apps for two years. We'd booked and paid through one, so we had to find another hotel and then wait 3-4 weeks for the app to refund us. That's a huge loss. I asked the manager to close their account if they weren't using the app anymore. PS: The guard offered to book us directly for cash at 300,000 Rupiah a night.

Pretty good here, finally. The bathroom was fairly clean and the shower worked. The AC in the upstairs room at the front right corner wasn't cold enough.
