The Priangan Hotel @ Sudirman

The biggest letdown during my three-night stay at The Priangan Boutique Hotel was breakfast, or sahur during Ramadan. The food seemed to have been made the night before, so it was cold and didn't taste fresh. When I came back around 8:30 AM, the same food was still sitting there, untouched and cold. There was just one dish, some plain bread, and cereal with no milk. The cereal was in a fridge in the kitchen, and I couldn't see any staff to help or refresh the food. It all felt rather abandoned. Housekeeping was another problem. My room wasn't cleaned at all during those three nights, and I got no fresh towels. There seemed to be very few staff, perhaps only one person looking after the whole hotel. The room and bathroom were clean when I arrived, and for Ciamis the price was decent. The mattress was softer than I like, while the pillow felt strangely stiff. That's down to personal preference, of course. I've visited Ciamis several times, but this was my first stay here, and it was a mixed experience. Better staffing and more care with food and service would make a difference.
