Dago Highland Resort

The price and the view were good, though the room felt old and looked like it could use some renovation.

From up there you can see almost all of Bandung, and the views are great. I chose a family room, which was quite spacious, with a nice balcony or terrace for having coffee and looking out at the landscape. The price is affordable and I enjoyed the scenery, though the hotel needs to pay more attention to cleanliness.

The view is really nice, but I wouldn't recommend this hotel. We booked a family room with two king beds. In the first bathroom, the toilet tank wouldn't refill on its own, so I had to add water by hand to flush. The towels were in terrible shape, discolored from brown to yellow and possibly very old. The AC in the front bedroom also didn't work properly, which made the room uncomfortable.

The staff made a big difference, from the front desk to the restaurant and housekeeping. Everyone was friendly, polite, and gave amazing service. We stayed in an Executive Suite at Dago Highland Resort, and the room, pools, restaurant, and other amenities made the weekend in Bandung feel just right. It was reasonably priced too, with plenty of attractions and restaurants nearby. I visited Jakarta on my first trip to Southeast Asia a few weeks ago, then spent the weekend here. Can't wait to return!
