A motorcycle was stolen from the villa area while it was inside the garage, and the villa took no responsibility. Their response was very slow too. There were lots of people hanging around, and people there said it wasn't a proper villa. I didn't feel the place was secure, with no guards or management on duty. When I asked to see the CCTV, they gave various excuses and said they were investigating, but I couldn't see how that explained the motorcycle going missing. I suspect several people on the property were involved. The service was awful. I don't recommend staying here.

The place looked nothing like the photos. When I arrived, I was passed from the receptionist to a second person, then another, before someone finally showed me to my room. Inside, the smell of kantil flowers or jasmine was overpowering. The building was very old, like a Dutch heritage building, and the room was hot, stuffy and smelly. There was no ventilation, fan or air conditioning, even upstairs. The walls were peeling, the bathroom looked unused for years, and the floor was very old. The mattress was so thin that I felt the plywood as soon as I sat down. I didn't want to stay the night.

I tried the Redrooz app for the first time, placing an order at 1 a.m., and they told me to come the next afternoon. My husband was tired, so I ended up paying offline. There weren't any towels, and when I wanted to make tea, there was no gas either.
