I’m into art and architecture, so I liked the look of this vintage guest house and its garden, old furniture, and very large room. They provide water bottles, and there’s a laundromat and ATM just across the road. The location is a drawback: it’s far from both the train station and city center, and traffic noise carries on late into the night. Inside, there were lots of mosquitoes, the showers didn’t look very clean, and the doors wouldn’t lock. Tap water was only available at random in the afternoon, breakfast was extremely basic, and it was hard to find anyone at reception. They also don’t accept credit cards. I didn’t hate staying here, but for me it wasn’t worth the price.
