Hotel Priangan Cirebon

The staff were friendly, the room was inexpensive, and the mattress was okay. I liked sitting outside the room, where it was easy to meet and talk with others. Breakfast was the usual nasi goreng with chicken and omelet, plus coffee or tea. There were a couple of discomforts: the toilet door was about 185 cm high, and I'm 195 cm, while the AC thermostat either had a weak battery or didn't work, leaving the air conditioning blasting all the time. The blanket was thin and had no cover sheet. I might return if the owner fixes the door issue.

There's plenty of parking, and the staff were hospitable. The hotel was clean, with the basics available: hot water, TV, AC, and a water jug. It's an older place, and the beds, cupboard, and duvets all show their age. Fine for a night.

We liked the location for getting to the attractions, alun alun, grand mosque, supermarket, and pasar kakomon, and would stay again. Yogja supermarket is right across the street, and we got around by renting a motorcycle. Oke rental delivered it to the train station. We booked through Agoda and check-in was quick, cashless, and easy. Staff were friendly and parking was ample. We stayed two nights. Our room's AC barely cooled things even on full blast, so we moved the mattress into the airflow. The heater was inconsistent too, sometimes not heating and sometimes working.

For a budget hotel, I'd give it four stars. The room was clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The water heater was supposed to warm up after a wait, but it never did, and asking the staff didn't get the issue fixed. Still, I'd stay here again next time I visit Cirebon.
