M Suite

The room I stayed in was decent and the hotel was comfortable enough for resting, so it could still work for a short stay. But I’d rate it 3/10 because there were no toiletries, room service only came if specifically requested, and part of the door was damaged. The service wasn’t good either. When I asked about the room, the answer was unclear and unhelpful. Other guests have apparently had similar experiences, based on their reviews. I hope they make improvements.

This is only my experience in a Deluxe room, and other guests may feel differently or have different standards. Please judge by the pictures too. The convenient parts were the easy highway access in Lippo Karawaci, being near Super mall Karawaci, and a food court about a 15-minute walk away. There’s a one-time gate area, a pantry on every floor, and their own food court for instant noodles. The hotel also has a swimming pool. But the pool didn’t look like it was cleaned regularly. Behind the wardrobe was a termite HQ, and I found a cockroach in my room. I asked the hotel maid for help, but she gave me “Baygon” to kill it. There was a lot of dust where it had been, and after it moved around the room I had to ask again for the floor to be cleaned. It took a long time, and I don’t know what she was doing; meanwhile nobody was at the check-in counter. A lot of the furniture was broken and needs regular maintenance because it affects the guest experience. The gym equipment didn’t work, technically it was broken, and the refrigerator was very dirty, please judge that by the picture. The bathroom equipment in my case was broken and clearly not maintained regularly. The first-floor pantry was being used as a storage room, and the hotelkeeper slept there, which was a very bad experience for a guest. There was no toothpaste or toothbrush either. The hotelkeeper, in my opinion, needs training in how to welcome both international and local guests. I hope management uses this review to evaluate and improve future service.

The room was really dirty, with lots of broken things, and you could hear everything in the corridor. People ate just 3 meters from the room until 11 pm, so it was very noisy even though the place is on a quiet street. Nobody speaks English. The team is really young and doesn’t understand anything, and they didn’t seem very professional.

The towels, sheets, and pillows were clean and nice, and the staff were helpful and friendly. The extra blankets, though, smelled like someone’s sweat and didn’t seem to have been washed properly. The pool was very small and not well maintained. I booked an M Suite via agoda for a Suite room for 2 adults and 3 children, but they didn’t see our request because the notification went to their junk email. They offered us a standard room with 2 extra beds at no extra charge. It’s a cozy place to sleep, more like a dormitory than a hotel or hostel, with a self-service kitchen, hot and cold mineral water, a microwave, sink, stove, and fridge. Overall, comfortable and good.
