The staff were very friendly, and the beach was close by, but the stay was a letdown. We first booked sari villa and asked for a downstairs room, yet got one upstairs. It was far too small for three people and the air conditioning didn’t work. After we complained, they moved us next door to Amansari Villa. That room was a reasonable size, but it smelled moldy, had gaps in the doors that let in mosquitoes and other insects, and geckos and lizards came inside. The room was generally very dirty, and the sheets weren’t changed daily. The photos online looked nothing like the actual place, and seemed to have been taken elsewhere or edited. The restaurant only served breakfast, so there was nowhere to get a snack by the pool without leaving the hotel. We travel to Bali often and haven’t stayed anywhere like this. The place badly needs renovation.

We got there before check-in, and the front desk kept our bags for us. They also let us change into swimsuits and gave us towels to take to the beach.

A quiet little place, set away from the main road and beachfront. The rooms are simple, but ours was comfortable and clean, and even had an outdoor shower. A real gem.
