Avillion Villa Cinta @ Sanur

The villa is inside a lush green private property, but Google Maps doesn’t show the exact entrance gate. I used the map in the booking confirmation email to find it. We were comfortable here, thanks in part to Mr. Sutapa and the staff, who were helpful throughout. The villa is right on Sanur beach, with a good spot for photos, and there’s a lively neighborhood nearby for food and wandering around. Shops close by rent motorcycles, and there are taxi stands and snorkeling or diving tours. WiFi and the pool are free, and the villa is independent. Breakfast is complimentary and made to order, with lots of Western and Balinese choices. You can also order lunch or dinner at very reasonable prices. The bathroom is huge, almost like another room, with a bathtub and an outdoor bathing area. It should work well for a honeymoon or family trip, since this part of the city isn’t as congested as Ubud streets.

The design is great, the location is stunning, and the service was fantastic. Still, the place needs some serious TLC. Renovations and maintenance are needed ASAP.

Our family of 10 had the whole Villa Cinta to ourselves for Christmas week, and we had a wonderful time. Ketut Sutapa and the staff were terrific, going out of their way to help us. Villa Cinta at Sanur exceeded what we expected in every way. I can thoroughly recommend it.

The beach out front has white sand, though the path along it tends to get crowded with people walking around. The villa has a big pool, a large garden with room for private events, and friendly staff. Rooms are cozy and spacious, with proper AC. WiFi is good, and there’s enough parking for two cars.
