The staff were super nice and very helpful, and the villas themselves were nice. It’s a good spot if you want quiet, though that lasts only until 7am because there’s a school next door. It’s also a bit far from Sanur’s main attractions. We could hear planes from the airport, but that applies to all of south Bali. In the villa, the AC was weak, the water was interrupted, and some decor was coming off the wall.

It was hard to leave the villa because we felt so relaxed. The place was comfortable and clean, and the pool was the best. Ode, Kadek, and the rest of the staff were amazing. It’s about a 20-30 minute walk along the beach boardwalk to central Sanur, which we didn’t mind.

We booked Villa #2 at The Bamboo Moon Villas and absolutely loved it. The pool was divine, the breakfast delicious, and the bed comfortable, with a nice hot shower too. Our host Ode looked after us extremely well and was always available, day or night. They offer complimentary airport pickup and drop-off, and would also take us anywhere in Sanur for free. We wish we’d booked a longer stay and will definitely come back.

We stayed during the Eid holiday, and I’ve only just had a chance to write this. The villa was fantastic, with a clean, nicely sized pool and fresh linens throughout. It’s in a quiet location within walking distance of the beach. Our host was friendly and helpful. We were so happy we stayed here.

The outdoor bathrooms were fabulous, even in the rain, and the beds were comfortable. The pool was clear and clean, and the property was beautifully maintained by a fabulous staff. Ode was a great host and could arrange anything for us. We had a brilliant seven-night stay at Bamboo Moon, about a 10-minute walk from the beach. Recommended!
