The manager was so welcoming and friendly, greeting me every morning. I didn’t catch his name, but he seemed to be there from early morning until late at night and was always ready to help or answer questions. He was genuinely kind and hardworking. My room had a comfortable, spacious bed, great air conditioning and a TV with YouTube and Netflix, a nice treat after a day out. The bathroom was clean and had hot water and soap. There wasn’t a wardrobe, but the chest of drawers fit all my things. The communal kitchen was handy too, with fridge space and water you could help yourself to. Blanjong Homestay is in a great spot, a short walk from the beach and lots of restaurants. I’d recommend the nearby Hanoi by MeVui for incredibly delicious, authentic Vietnamese food at very reasonable prices. I had a fantastic stay and it was amazing value: I paid only £10 a night on Agoda! I’d highly recommend Blanjong Homestay to anyone visiting Sanur.

Pak Martin and Pak Julian run the place, and both are kind, genuine, hardworking and ready to help with anything. I felt in good hands with them. Blanjong Homestay is simple and basic, but comfortable and had all the amenities I needed. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the hot shower had good pressure. It’s about a 10-15 minute walk to the beach, with plenty of warungs, eateries and mini-marts nearby for anything you might need. Great value for money, and I’m very satisfied. I’d stay again when I’m back in Sanur.

A nice place with lovely people hosting. There’s a lot of bypass noise at night, though, apparently from large groups of kids doing illegal bike racing. I’m surprised the police or authorities don’t shut it down, given that Sanur is such a tourist destination.

The hosts were very nice and welcoming, and the location is perfect, about 10 minutes from the beach. Everything else was good too, and the AC worked very well.
