Beautiful place, with a pool and good food.

It was so relaxing to hear nature instead of road noise, and the views from around the grounds are breathtaking. There are lots of shared spaces where you can meditate, work, or just spend time without losing your privacy. My room had working air conditioning and plenty of outlets, plus a kettle and refrigerator. The veranda had a comfortable spot for tea. The restaurant menu was small but varied, with huge portions, and I really enjoyed my meal. There wasn't any internet, but mobile service worked great for me. I'm very grateful I got to stay here, and the grounds are still being improved, so I imagine it will get even better. The hotel is wonderfully secluded, but the paint is peeling in spots on the walls, and some areas are already flaking.

There's a beautiful pool and an exceptional view, plus a large room with mirrors, a fridge, kettle, and balcony. The place has lots of potential, but it feels underused. Finding it was a real ordeal. The hotel goes by several names, and the name on Booking.com wasn't recognized on Maps or by locals. It was listed as 3km from Munduk, but it's actually over 8km away, and it took us several hours to find it. You need your own vehicle to stay here. There are no scooter rentals within a 15-minute drive, and our neighbor had to scrape together the 100k to drive us there. When staff were around, they were pleasant, but seemed overwhelmed if we asked more than one question at a time, even though only 3 rooms were occupied while we were there. No laundry or shuttle/taxi service was offered. The restaurant wasn't open every day, and when it was, the food was very salty, not very good, and expensive by Bali standards. Breakfast should be included for the price. The bathroom wasn't very clean and had a lot of limescale. There was barely any toilet paper, luckily we brought some, and the shower gel and shampoo tubes were empty. The air conditioning had no remote to turn it on. There were blankets but no sheets. Also, the door is open and the road above is busy during the week, so you may wake up around 6 a.m.

I've stayed there before. Do I need to get in touch with someone to book a room?
