We were there for over 30 nights. The hotel has potential, but poor upkeep and management made the stay a complete disappointment. The whole place was dirty, and we had to buy cleaning supplies to clean our room ourselves. There were cockroaches in the room and elsewhere in the hotel. An employee told me it was the first time they’d ever seen one there, which I find hard to believe. The so-called equipped kitchen had basically nothing in it, so we couldn’t use it properly. We also had to pay separately for electricity and felt scammed over the bill: 1,219 kWh, or about €134 for one month. That seems ridiculous when normal monthly use for a single room would be around 400 kWh. The staff were friendly, but seemed unmotivated and mostly sat on their phones. The advertised co-working meeting room with proper office chairs was locked, and cost an extra 250,000 IDR per hour. Its light switch was inside the locked room, so there was no light to work by in the evening. The outdoor area was filthy too, though they cleaned it once after I complained.

The team made this place special. They were always welcoming, polite, and helpful. When it started raining, they quietly brought an umbrella right to the door without saying anything. The location is convenient and the rooms are comfortable. I didn’t expect to like it this much. Absolutely lovely ♥️

We stayed here for three nights, and it was a horrible experience. The property looks just like its listing, but the service was awful. They offered to refund the cost of one night, but money wasn't the issue. We'd already paid willingly. They charged around Rp700k a night, which isn't cheap for a room in Denpasar, and the management should provide service that justifies that price. The complimentary water in the jug was dirty. We only noticed on checkout day, and it was the last straw after everything else. I'd like to see the staff or management drink that water themselves. Our room was extremely dirty, with dust like a house that had been left for months. We asked management to clean it a couple of times, but saw little improvement. Staff mopped again when we asked, though they seemed to be using the wrong tool or cloth for the PVC floor, so the dust stayed put. On our third night, the ceiling started leaking. It was horrible. A staff member denied it at first, then had nothing to say once he saw the leak. They didn't try to fix it or offer to move us to another unit, even though it was only around 9pm, if I'm remembering right. We also didn't get the room we'd booked. We'd deliberately avoided a mezzanine room because we were traveling with a toddler, but they assigned us one anyway. They blamed an automatic upgrade in the system because our chosen room was unavailable. Why was an unavailable room listed in the first place? They eventually moved us to a one room villa, which actually had two rooms. We didn't use the upstairs one.

I liked the rooftop pool most, especially the city views. The apartments are cozy, and the beds are comfortable. Staff were helpful with questions and took care of what I needed. Housekeeping was great, with the apartments serviced twice a week. There's secure scooter parking in the basement, and lots of restaurants are an easy 2 to 5 minute walk away. I was very comfortable at Fouralivin and would stay again on my next visit.

Rooms and grounds are nice, and there’s covered parking, a pool, a coworking space, and a gym. The staff were polite and good. My only complaint was that the rooms weren’t cleaned well.
