The receptionist and the accommodation, none of it seemed dependable. How could the price be so different from what we booked? Can they even manage it?

We came from North Sumatra and booked five rooms through Traveloka for Rp. 220 thousand per room, which we paid. When we arrived, they wouldn’t accept us unless we added an extra bed, saying children over five had to pay. Management said the amount Traveloka paid the hotel didn’t match the price. We eventually agreed to two rooms with an extra bed, but then they said only four rooms were available😞. We’d booked five and weren’t willing to settle for four, so they refused to check us in, saying we’d booked through the Traveloka app instead of directly with the hotel and they didn’t want to take responsibility. We moved to another hotel and called Traveloka CS to request a refund. We got it back, but it didn’t make up for the exhaustion and frustration caused by the unprofessional management.
