We had booked two villas for our Sanur trip, one for two people and the other a larger one with four rooms. Unfortunately, the stay didn't meet expectations and a number of things went wrong. In the four-room villa, one air conditioner never worked during our stay. We told the staff, but it wasn't repaired, leaving us to share the other rooms in cramped, uncomfortable conditions. The villa also looked run down and poorly maintained, especially for the price. The running water had a strong, unpleasant smell and tasted salty, so it was difficult to use. Most of the doors wouldn't close properly, and we worried about the security of our belongings. We didn't feel comfortable leaving our things in the villa when we went out. Management never responded to the issues we raised, which added to our frustration. The location was decent, one of the few redeeming parts of the stay. There were a few other minor problems too. They were tolerable, but added up to make the experience less than ideal. Given the poor maintenance and lack of response, we wouldn't recommend this property.

We had a really nice stay in this lovely villa. The pool stood out most: it was clean, and the water felt fresh because there wasn't much chlorine.

The location was handy for us, about 15 minutes from Serangan Port, with a nice supermarket right across from the property. The villa itself is large, with comfortable places to sit inside and out, a well-equipped kitchen, and a lovely pool and outdoor space. The greenery makes it feel peaceful, though it also brings quite a lot of mosquitoes. It was decently clean, too. Our stay was affected by a leak in the roof of one attached bathroom. Water sometimes dripped through, and there was a slight smell in some upstairs rooms. We were told it had happened just the day before check-in, so it made sense that it hadn't been fixed in time. Still, it took away from what was otherwise a beautiful, spacious villa.

The villa was nice, but there were so many mosquitoes in the room that it made things unpleasant. The gazebo and garden also need maintenance. They really need to look after the property, or people won't be able to stay here for long.

We were excited to try Sanur for the first time and had picked Kings Villas after seeing so many good reviews. The space was huge, just as the pictures showed, but the room was uncomfortable from the start. About three hours after checking in, around 8:30 pm, it was still warm and we were sweating after showering. The AC blew strongly, but the air wasn't cold, even on the lowest setting and highest fan speed. The front desk came right away and tried adjusting it, but nothing changed. They could only offer a stand fan, which we accepted because the staff member was doing his best. The villa manager said they were fully booked, apologized, and suggested we sleep with the door open and fan on. He said maintenance would come at 10 the next morning. We kept waking up all night, and at 5:30 am I texted asking to check out early and get a refund. The manager asked us to wait for maintenance, with a refund if the AC was still faulty afterward. We contacted Moria Villa Management and explained we just wanted to leave. Ms Okta handled the checkout and refund request very professionally and arranged it smoothly through Agoda. We got the three remaining nights refunded, but paid the full price for that first night. Maybe the AC couldn't handle such a large space, or maybe it was a maintenance problem. Also, house slippers would have been useful, since there were lots or caterpillars in the living area.
