Kirana Home Stay

A very special place, and such a great experience staying at Kirana homestay. The room was wonderful, the host was amazing, and there was a great choice at breakfast. The location is fantastic too. Thank you 🙏

Kirana Homestay is so well located, just five minutes from ICON Bali mall and five minutes from the beach. There are lots of restaurants right outside, plus a Starbucks across the street for Americans missing their Pike, like me. The owners are extremely nice and always available. They also do laundry for 25k/kilo and bring the clean clothes back to your room. The room is simple, with a fridge, a/c, hot shower, and a patio where you can eat breakfast. There's no TV, hair dryer, or towels, though I'm sure they'd have provided towels if I'd asked. I had my own. I especially loved the outdoor sitting area by my room, where I read my Bible every morning. Breakfast is included, and the four choices were SOOOO much better than breakfasts that cost me 100k. I didn't try all four because I loved the omelet and ordered it more than once. So tasty and creamy. For the price, I don't think you can find anything better. I'd booked a very posh beachside hotel too, and wanted to cancel it after staying at Kirana, but it was too late. I'd definitely stay here again. You're on vacation, so go out and enjoy the area!

The included breakfasts come in four types, and they're delicious. The owners are incredibly kind and ready to help. Kirana Homestay feels peaceful and authentic, with Balinese culture all around, including offerings and prayers. It made for a welcoming, comfortable way to experience local life, and I recommend it 1000%! I had the largest room, which was spacious, with a wardrobe, fridge, and a very comfortable bed. The rooms were cleaned regularly, and the outdoor area was especially well maintained.

There are plenty of good restaurants nearby, along with small supermarkets, the beach, and a shopping mall, all within walking distance. Even with the main road so close, it was very quiet. The room was nice, and breakfast was good, with toast and jam or an omelette. Good value for money. There are lots of traffic jams around Sanur, so allow extra time when you're travelling.
