Nyaman Guest House

We found Nyamans Guest House comfortable and friendly, about 30 metres down a lane from Sanur's main street. The staff were efficient, kind young men, and the location made the stay especially good. Other guests seemed to use it in different ways, from splitting a Bali holiday between areas to staying a few days on the way elsewhere or waiting for a late flight. For me, a guest house should feel safe, clean, comfortable, and welcoming, and this did. There's a safe in the large built-in wardrobe. Our room had a comfortable bed and pillows, a large fridge, and a TV with lots of channels. Ground floor rooms sit close to the central pool, which has three sunbeds beside it. The pool was cleaned every day during our month-long stay. Fresh breakfast was cooked each morning and served in the dining area near the entrance. The staff desk is in the adjoining sitting area. Linen was changed regularly, and the wifi was strong. There's also a small supermarket, TJ's, at the end of the lane, handy for afternoon snacks or a chat with TJ.
