The room was affordable, and having a fridge was useful. It was just okay, though, and I wasn't sure the bed was clean. The area is fairly convenient and not far from the main road, so it might work if you want somewhere near Jl. Bypass Ngurah Rai. Finding the place was confusing. Pondok Raya 828 is the smaller one at the front of Jl. Raya Pemogan, while the hotel I stayed at was Pondok Raya II 828 on Jl. Pemogan gang taman. You have to go into a small block in a kampung, and there isn't a sign to guide you. I had to keep checking the maps and hotel photos in the Traveloka app to make sure I had found the right one. The staff member, or whoever was in charge of receiving guests, was very unfriendly and had no manners. Don't expect a helpful smile. His attitude made it seem like he didn't need guests.

I visited a friend who was staying here in Bali. It's a simple, nice place at an affordable price, with air conditioning, a refrigerator, and hot water in the room. There's plenty of parking, and the property works with airway and redoorz.

It's the cheapest option around. What you'd pay for one day at a hotel in Kuta could get you a month here.

A nice place for backpackers, and they take late bookings. The surroundings are crowded, though, and it smells bad.
