Rai and his family were so kind and always happy to help or offer advice. Their homestay is lovely and calm, near the beach and a great night market. Our room was clean and the food was good. Thanks, Rai!

We spent four months at Rai House Sanur while studying in Bali, and it really came to feel like home. The family made us feel welcome, the food was really good, and the boys especially loved the pancakes. Even the dog was adorable. I miss that time and would gladly stay again. I’ll definitely visit next time I’m in Bali.

The hosts were nice and willing to help, and the room was about what I expected for the price. Room service cleaned it well. The shower drain was slow, one side of my twin bed had a dip, and the room looked a bit older than the photos. It’s around a 10-minute walk to Sanur beach, while the place itself is fairly quiet off the main road.

The upstairs rooms get lots of sunlight, which I liked, and the bed was comfortable enough. The rooms aren’t too small, though they could use a fridge. The shower worked fine with hot and cold water. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. This small guest house sits in a quiet little gang, so there isn’t much noise apart from the dogs and roosters, which is normal in Bali. I’d recommend it.
