By the third night, roaches were everywhere, even on the bed, and I also suspect there were bed bugs. The first couple of nights had been relatively fine. The front desk guy said I couldn’t change rooms and they had no insect repellent, so I had to get some myself. The room didn’t look like the photos they posted online, which felt dishonest, even though the place is cheap. There’s nobody to contact except the front desk. No managers or owner contact, and even the number listed on OYO goes to the front desk. That makes it hard to complain to anyone with authority, since the employee there is just doing his job unless you make a scene. It makes me suspect they’ve had many complaints and are burying the problem instead of fixing it. I’d stay away.

The man at reception was polite enough, but the room was really bad. We had to move because there were so many lizards, and the damp and mould smell was awful. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

Friendly atmosphere and cheap, and the hotel is decent. Still, they really need to make repairs and pay attention to the details. I left a week early, got my money back without trouble, and went home for treatment.

It may be an inexpensive place, but they could at least provide a bed cover or duvet. There wasn’t a towel, soap, or toilet roll either, and the ceilings had loads of mould.
