The staff are fantastic, and the restaurant food and service were outstanding in my opinion. The manager should look after them, because they really make this place. The location is good, just a stone’s throw from the big new Icon Shopping complex. The villas felt less impressive than others I’ve stayed in at the same or lower price, though. Those spiral stairs are a struggle to get up to the bedroom, and these villas aren’t suitable if you’re elderly or injured. Construction noise carried on throughout our stay, with nail guns and grinders from morning until late afternoon. For a villa that isn’t budget priced, it wasn’t a peaceful experience, and we hadn’t been told about the work. I understand they need to build more villas, but they could close the ones beside the noise or offer a discount. I assume we drew the short straw because we booked through Luxury Escapes. The villas were okay, but compared with places we’ve stayed before, the experience wasn’t as good. I probably wouldn’t return, even though the staff are lovely.

We came from England as a family of four in October 2025 and had an amazing time at The Pavilions. Our room had lovely presents waiting for us for our 35th anniversary, and nothing seemed too much trouble for the staff. They work incredibly hard in the heat and always had a smile. Running service at that level is no small feat. Some people will leave a bad review wherever they stay, but our family had a great time and hopes to return to this wonderful place. Well done to everyone at The Pavilions, especially Mega and Yogi. Hopefully we’ll see you again soon.

The location was perfect, the room gorgeous, and the staff extremely friendly. Breakfast was lovely, and they were very accommodating about my partner being vegan and us having to leave at 3 in the morning. They prepared a little snack pack for us, such a thoughtful touch. This place was amazing, and I’d highly recommend it.

We spent two fantastic weeks here. The staff were all amazing and went above and beyond to make our stay the best they could. Breakfast was delicious and made fresh to order. On Valentine’s Day, the lovely staff served us a delicious meal with great presentation. We’ll definitely come back and recommend it.

I’ve been to Bali seven times and stayed at 15 properties, and this place ranks near the top. It’s a hidden luxury gem amid busy Sanur, with well kept villas and refreshing, nicely sized pools. We came from the five star Nusa Dua Beach Hotel and spa, and this felt like a step up, especially because the villas are so spacious. Traveling with a young child, I’d skip the hotels and stay here. For similar value, the villa is about six times the size of a hotel room. There’s a lot within a 10 minute walk, including Icon Bali, described as the biggest shopping mall, dozens of high quality coffee shops, high end massage, a large beach promenade, and restaurants. The tropical setting helped me forget about work. As a former travel agent, I’d highly recommend it.
