Breakfast was a real highlight: we picked from a good range of choices, then the lovely staff came to our villa and cooked it. Fruit, juice, and coffee or tea were included, and we really enjoyed it. We stayed in a tranquility villa at The Zen Villas and loved how quiet and private it felt. The grounds were well cared for, with a security guard at the entrance, a shady daybed, loungers by the pool, and dining tables both inside and out. There was loads of storage, a large well equipped kitchen with a water cooler, and a great bathroom with an outdoor shower. The walk to Jl. Danau Tamblingan took around eight minutes. We didn't mind doing it several times a day, and felt safe walking back at night, though some stretches weren't well lit, so we carried a small torch. There are some great Warungs in the alleys along the way. Housekeeping and reception were great, and they arranged our airport pickup. Can't think of anything negative, and we're looking forward to coming back.

We were sad to leave because the villa felt like home. It was great value for money, with a private pool, and the staff and security guards were all polite and friendly. Having breakfast cooked in the villa each day was a lovely touch. The location is very quiet, a little away from Sanur's main street. It's about a ten minute walk to the main road, and the walk along the coast to the icon takes around 30 minutes. It's beautiful in the day or at night. Mosquitoes were our one problem. Staff spray each night and also do a de fogging, which helps, but the bugs soon return, so bring good repellent.

We had a great time, and the private, large pool and jacuzzi were fantastic. The dining room was nice too. My only issues were that you have to go through the bedroom to get to the restroom, and the air conditioner sits above the bed. I think it would be better in a corner of the room. Thanks for a lovely stay!

The team at The Zen Villas, especially Adi, turned a really awful start to our holiday around. My mum, aunty, and I had checked into a place in Ubud after arriving in Bali, but left within an hour because the experience was so bad. Since we'd stayed at The Zen Villas before, I called at 5:30 p.m. to ask if they had a two bedroom villa for us. In just half an hour, the team had arranged three nights in a two bedroom pool villa. They understood what we were going through and were so efficient and caring. After such a stressful day, I nearly cried with happiness when we arrived. This morning we're relaxing by the pool and feeling incredibly grateful. The Zen Villas is part of our Bali routine now, and the place we'll keep coming back to. Thanks to the whole team for making us feel so welcome. We're returning guests, and we'll be back again.

The villas were beautifully presented, and our two bedroom one had a private pool, lovely gardens, and an outdoor dining area. We also had an in room massage, which was great, and the staff cooking breakfast in the villa made it a lovely experience. We only stayed a short time, but it was wonderful. Everyone was polite, friendly, and ready to help with whatever we needed. Thanks to Trish & staff. We'll definitely return to Sanur!
