Villa Tangtu Beach Inn

The place felt poorly looked after, with damp along the sides of the room, and the room itself was a real letdown. No surprise the price is cheap... 😌 Thanks, anyway.

That paddy field scenery with the ocean waves in the background really stayed with me. We crossed the fields on foot to Biaung Beach, and it was amazing. The room has quite a bit of furniture, an open cabinet and a fridge, but I’d give it 6.5/10. The air conditioner was very noisy, and the bathroom had no sanitary kit, just a small sachet of soap, or mineral water for guests. The pool was fairly clean. There was construction underway on the first floor, though, and things were quite messy.

The rice field beside the property made for a lovely morning view. My room was spacious, but it was dirty when I stayed there. The lighting was too dim, making it dark and spooky at night, and staff weren’t always available at the hotel.

I wasn’t satisfied with my stay. The room in this cheap “villa” was dusty, and lots of things didn’t work. Most times I went to reception, there was almost nobody there. The pool wasn’t clean, either. There were no towels, drinking water, rubbish bin or even toilet paper.
