Villa Wantilan Putih

We enjoyed staying in this villa, set in a lovely garden near the beach. The rooms are spacious and cleaned every day. We did have a few minor issues that could have been sorted out if a manager had been present.

The location makes it easy to walk to excellent restaurants and shops, with the property tucked between the main road and the beach. Breakfast at the beachside Cafe is excellent and only a very short stroll away. Krisna, the manager, can help with things like restaurant bookings and drivers, and the staff are very attentive. Inside, the gardens, flowers, statues, fish ponds, day beds and pool make it so relaxing that I found it hard to leave. The shower gets wonderfully hot and has great pressure, a god-send after Nusa Penida. Villa Wantilan Putih is a very special part of Sanur, with a unique old-world charm. I can't imagine staying anywhere more beautiful.

Our top-floor apartment had a lovely room and view. We could hear people talking or moving chairs in the common area sometimes. The staff were nice, though not especially friendly.

The garden suite was so hard to leave after four nights. My friend and I found the grounds immaculate, the Vilas spacious and the pool lovely, with such a peaceful feel throughout. Ketut and the rest of the staff were kind, helpful, quick to respond and just lovely. Our hot water had a problem on the first night, and they were caring and responsive when we raised it. There's also a tiny, adorable, friendly puppy helping out around the place. Wantilan Putih feels homely, private and safe. I’d recommend it, and I’ll definitely be back. Missing you guys already ❤️
