I’ve been staying here for 2 years, and I’m still grateful that the room rate hasn’t gone up, even as boarding house prices rise every year. For that price, you get a bed and an en suite bathroom, right by the main road, so it’s really worth it. It’s quiet too, a good fit for introverts. Of course the owner, as a human being, is bound to have shortcomings. Wishing the owner and family smooth fortune. ☺️☺️

After only two days I couldn’t stand it and moved out. I’d rather find somewhere else than pay for a full month and use just two days. There are plenty of cheap, nice boarding houses, and this one felt like a waste of money. It might suit backpackers for a short stay, but not for staying long. The room is small, and the facilities don’t make the price feel that cheap to me. There are lots of rules, including no parking inside. If your motorbike gets lost, he’s willing to cover it. At first I felt comfortable, then a lady suddenly knocked and angrily called me noisy. She even said she’d evict me. All the new boarders were scolded and threatened with eviction. She was so unfriendly. It felt unfair, especially when everyone was noisy at night. People in a boarding house aren’t ghosts, so there’s bound to be some normal noise. It wasn’t screaming, and the place isn’t soundproof, so you can hear the neighbors. At night it can get loud, with people laughing out loud too, but there’s no need to reprimand someone so rudely, especially the first time.
