The location is quite central, and we enjoyed the Martabak nearby. We had a really nice stay and would recommend it.

The people working at the hotel were lovely, always smiling, and the guests were friendly too. The neighborhood has a fair number of shops, including a Carrefour, though it's about a 30-minute walk from the center. A masseuse there gives very good massages at a reasonable price, €8 for a 30-minute back massage. Breakfast was practically nothing: no juice, bread, or coffee, just papaya, watermelon, and melon. Carrefour is only four minutes away, unless you like Balinese breakfasts such as rice, noodles, spay sauce, or some kind of slimy dessert. Cockroaches were all over the lobby and room, and I even found a tiny one in my bed. The room wasn't very clean and the lobby was awful. At least we got two nights at a very attractive price, but I'm running away and won't stay at this hotel again, even for €2. Sorry to the lovely staff.
