Villa Giuliana

We spent five nights here and had a fantastic stay. The sunsets from the villa were among the best we’ve seen, and the pool gets sun from around 11am until sunset. The kitchen has everything needed, so we cooked every day. The villa is roomy, very clean, and comfortable, though it sits at the top of a steep hill. We’d requested a scooter ahead of time, and one was ready when we arrived for a fair price. The drive into town takes about 10 minutes. Mukarram and Budi welcomed us and were wonderful throughout, while still giving us privacy. Budi even came back one evening after his shift to replace the kitchen gas. Mukarram took me on a mountain hike to see some local culture, which I’d recommend if he offers it. There’s also a security guard outside overnight. It would be helpful to tell guests in advance. We learned about him on our first night when the power went out and we spotted someone with a torch by the pool. Thanks for everything.

The pool area is lovely, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The villa is very clean with great amenities. The view is stunning, and on a clear day you can see Mount Agung.

The villa is looking quite worn, and one of the rooms wasn’t usable because of mold. Parking is limited to one car, with nowhere for scooters. The pool was clean, the view was nice, and the staff were great, though I had to keep telling them what needed doing.

The facilities are complete, and there’s a pool with a nice view. It’s a comfortable, cool place, especially for a bigger group, and the family room is really comfortable too.
