The food was absolutely delicious, and we had amazing surf sessions at Scar Reef. It’s a challenging wave, but with the expert guidance and support from François and his team, I managed to surf the best waves of my life. Scar Reef Resort sits on a beautiful, quiet beach that feels like paradise. François and his staff were exceptionally kind and helpful, always going the extra mile to make our stay comfortable.

The overall vibe is great, and the locals on the beach seem nice. I’m not sure about the resort itself, but it’s right next to a few amazing surf breaks!

I took my first surf lessons here and couldn’t have picked a better place to start. The guides were professional, patient, and skilled at adjusting for different levels, from total beginners to more advanced surfers. The food was a treat at every meal, blending authentic Indonesian dishes with European-inspired flavors and fresh, high-quality ingredients. From the first moment, this stunning place felt easy and relaxing. The team was kind, welcoming, attentive, and genuinely caring. The rooms were beautiful, comfortable, and tastefully decorated, with high-end accommodations that added a lot to the stay. I’d highly recommend it for relaxing, improving your surfing, or enjoying the setting.

We had to move here unexpectedly after a terrible stay elsewhere, and it turned out to be the best decision we could have made. The rooms were spotless, the facilities were great, and the whole place felt relaxed and friendly. The resort is clean, beautifully maintained, and just as described, with no surprises, just paradise. Francois, the owner, and his son were warm, genuine hosts who went out of their way to make us comfortable from the moment we arrived. You can tell they care about their guests and take pride in what they’ve built here. We couldn’t recommend Scar Reef Resort more highly, five stars without hesitation!
