Dieng Glamping syari'ah

A good glamping option near Sikidang crater. There's hot water, a private kitchen, and a portable stove. We happened to get a unit without a TV, but it was comfortable enough. Cleanliness could be better.

I booked and paid through Agoda, but when I got there it was pitch black and there wasn't anywhere to eat. Locals told me the place had been closed for a long time.

I couldn't locate the place or reach them on WhatsApp. I don't know if the service is just a mess or if this was a scam. I'm exhausted from having my route set by inns that make no sense. This is the first time I've been scammed, and Agoda hasn't been very helpful either.

I stayed here in September 2024. For a glamping place, it was quite okay overall. If you want something spotless and fully equipped, I'd suggest a five-star hotel instead, in line with the concept and price. The service deserves more than five stars, though. My child became sick in the middle of the night, and the staff quickly brought medicine and handled things. When we were heading back to Jakarta, they gave us a safe, comfortable route so we wouldn't get lost or stuck on a road unsuitable for a sedan. Google Maps alone would have sent us down a pretty terrible road. Thank you, I'll definitely come back.
