Kizuna Villa Dieng

Good.

The place looks new from the outside, and the triangular design is nice. We came as a group of 26. Inside, the internet worked really well, and there was a bathtub. Netflix was available too, though you need to log in with your own account. A few repairs are needed: the bathroom shelf is coming apart, the entrance door hinge is loose, and the first-floor curtain is missing, leaving the room visible from outside. Hot water was also limited, which matters in the cold Dieng highlands. The location is in Banjarnegara, so it isn't especially close to Sikunir. We booked a jeep tour, but found out at the tourist entrance that the ticket wasn't included and had to pay extra. Coordination with the jeep service could be better. BBQ is pricey and hard to find locally, so it may be better to buy it in Semarang. Aside from these things, everything was fine. Thank you.

Please fix room no 2. The front, back, and bedroom doors are damaged and very hard to slide. The upper door makes noise and won't close, and the curtains don't cover the room properly, upstairs or downstairs. It would also be more comfortable to put artificial grass carpet on the lower balcony so people can sit or walk there. The bathroom was dirty. We were taken straight to that room and shown the bathroom details, including that you have to prime the shower one by one before bathing. Nobody offered to move us because the door needed repairs. Please don't say a move was offered when no one said that to us.

The staff made the stay feel warm from check-in through check-out, and they were helpful about suggesting places to visit around Dieng. The villa sits in a quiet, lovely spot, a nice break from city noise, with that cool mountain air and a fresh feel. Our room was clean, comfortable, and warm enough for chilly highland nights. The facilities were complete and well looked after. It would suit a family, a couple, or someone traveling alone who wants a peaceful stay.
