My kids really enjoyed Danau Dariza resort hotel, especially its unusual room, little lake view, and swimming pools. Breakfast was the letdown. It was almost flavorless apart from being salty. I hope they make it better in the future.

The mountain views are lovely in the morning, and there’s plenty to do around the resort. We found the rooms quite unique and the staff super friendly, which made it a great spot for a weekend away.

The garden is spacious and well kept, and there’s quite a bit to do: two pools, one cool and one hot, three kinds of slides, plus games like flying fox, water biking, and rowing. If you’re around Cipanas, it could be an option. The rooms we stayed in, Sunda and Toba, were pretty old but okay.

The staff were good, and everyone working there was friendly and nice. The hotel is in a convenient spot, close to the Siti center, with a large grounds and lots of activities kids enjoy. Mine loved horse riding, feeding fish, feeding rabbits, and trying the flying fox. Adults can rent a boat or water bicycle too. One big problem was the swimming pool area. People who weren’t staying at the hotel could visit by buying a ticket, and it got uncomfortable and filthy. They bought instant noodles and coffee, smoked, then left cups, noodle bowls, and rubbish everywhere. Breakfast also needs work because we didn’t enjoy it.
