We found a place to rest for 250,000 Rupiah by booking directly when we arrived. It was an economy room with twin beds and no AC, and the walls were a bit dusty. The bathroom water was clean, but there were no amenities. The guesthouse itself is large and has ample parking, with plenty of food stalls outside. In the morning you can find porridge, uduk rice, serabi, and more. It’s also well placed, not far from the town square, Garut station, and cafes. We got there at 11 PM during the Eid holiday because of one-way traffic. Thank God there was still a room. If we’d arrived a little later, we might not have found one.

The rooms are spacious and the location is convenient, though the spot shown on the map is off. The actual location is a little farther south.

I ended up checking in here because it’s right in town and just a short walk from Garut station. There was also somewhere to get a late-night meal. The room has no AC and only basic amenities, but it worked for a quick nap while I waited for my train.

The location is the real plus, right in the middle of the busy area, with lots of food nearby for an afternoon or evening out. The price is low, though there are better places around at that cost.
