I liked the hot spring and pool. The room was reasonably priced, and there was a good vegetarian pasta choice.

The staff were all kind and helpful, but the room had some problems. Voices from the pool came through the window until 10 pm, and the furniture was old and stained. In the bathroom, there was only very hot water, with no cold option, which made washing my hair unpleasant.

The restaurant had lots of tasty choices. I also found the rooms clean and comfortable, and the pool was clean and warm, a nice fit for therapy in Garut's cool air. The resort itself was really nice.

The hot spring tubs in the rooms at Hotel Tirtagangga in Cipanas, Garut were a relaxing highlight. The property was quiet on weekdays, though the pools got busy with visitors during the day. There was some sulfur smell around the area, but it didn't spoil the stay much. I had a great time and would still recommend it to anyone after a relaxing hot spring getaway.

Guests can use the hot spring pool for free. The hotel is old and currently being renovated.
