The convenient location is about the only reason I’d consider this hotel again, but I won’t be back or recommend it. Some staff, especially security, didn’t handle their jobs properly. They chatted while visitors came and went instead of helping manage traffic. A laundry truck was parked in the car entrance, blocking visitors from entering the basement parking area. Unbelievable. Breakfast had very little variety, so I went elsewhere for another breakfast. Other hotels in the same budget range offer more choice than Holiday Inn Express IHG. My room felt dusty, made my skin itchy, and after two days I had a bad cough. The iMac and printer in the restaurant were useful. I’m leaving an honest review in the hope that this hotel improves its facilities and security staff’s skills.

Breakfast had a big selection, and the restaurant staff were friendly and happy to accommodate requests. At reception, the team were extremely helpful at any hour, day or night. I’d highly recommend this hotel.

The staff were a pleasure, polite, friendly, and efficient. Breakfast had a great range, and the rooms were modern and clean, with very comfortable beds and good-quality bedding. The street is busy, but the location is handy for the airport, shops, and restaurants. There’s also a very nice spa across the street. I’d stay here again.

For a short, practical stay, this was a decent choice, especially with an early flight. Holiday Inn Express Bali Sunset Road is conveniently close to the airport. My room wasn’t especially spacious, but it was clean and well maintained, in keeping with what I expect from IHG properties. Breakfast was quite basic. They might consider leaving coconut oil out of the baked goods to suit a wider range of international tastes.

I was very disappointed by the room. It had insects inside, including mosquitoes and a rove beetle, which is extremely dangerous. The toilet was filthy too, and the place felt unhygienic. It seems nobody properly checked the room before I arrived. Completely unacceptable.
