We spent two weeks here and found it very good for the price. It’s away from the busy street, so the only sounds we heard were geckos. The family who runs it was super nice and kind, and they helped us sort out every problem. Staff were friendly too, and the welcome drink was the best we’ve ever had. Breakfast was simple, but tasty and enough for us. I can recommend it.

The people working here were great, and we had no issues during our two-night stay. The air conditioning, shower and hot water all worked well. Breakfast was decent, and the hammock and bean bags were perfect for a nap. We didn’t hear much from the mosque ourselves, but light sleepers might want earplugs in case the 4:30 a.m. call wakes them. I’d stay here again if I come back.

I was sad to leave Mustika Ocean Lodge, but I’ll definitely come back to Gili Air. The room was even better than the photos, with a really comfy bed, a great hot shower and air conditioning that worked perfectly. I loved having a little private garden and a hammock to relax in. The staff were so nice and accommodating.

This family-run place is a good base for exploring the island, and the port’s main road is just two minutes away. Renting a bike was easy, and they lend snorkeling gear for free. When I got sick, the team took care of me and checked in on me. They really go the extra mile to make you happy. We had a really good time here.

Mustika Ocean Lodge is a nice, clean and quiet place, away from the noise. The staff are especially friendly and helpful, and they made us feel welcome. A good choice if you want somewhere tidy and peaceful to relax, with kind people around.
