Aini was lovely and helped arrange snorkeling trips, and the pool was great for a dip, deeper than it looks. Our room was clean and comfortable, and breakfast was fresh with enough variety for the few days we stayed. We liked being a little away from the main routes, so it was quieter, while bars and restaurants were still just a short walk away. The nearby mosque's loud prayers might bother some people, but they didn't bother us. We had a really enjoyable short stay and only wished we could have stayed longer.

The rooms were spotless, with towels, shampoo and soap supplied, and I loved the outdoor washroom. They also provide water for refilling your own bottle. The staff were amazing and always ready to help. Breakfast had several choices and was filling enough to last for hours. It's very central for getting around the island. The pool stays shaded for much of the day, so it feels cool, which was welcome when the ocean at 28 degrees didn't feel very refreshing. They can rent you bikes or arrange a snorkeling day tour. I woke up to the call to prayer the first night, then slept through it the next. Highly recommend this place!

We'd booked rooms at Lucky’s bungalows, but the host kindly moved us to the villas so the party that night wouldn't disturb us. She was very accommodating, arranging a free snorkeling tour and lending us bikes. The rooms were gorgeous, the air conditioning was strong, and the pool was lovely. Breakfast was delicious with several options, and it was easy to get around from there. The chickens next door were pretty loud at 5am. Apart from that, the host did everything she could to make things great.

We spent a lot of time enjoying the beach, snorkeling, sunsets and fresh fish grilled over an open fire, but we were always happy to return to our incredibly comfortable room. The mattress was great, and it had air conditioning, a TV and a lovely shower. In two months of traveling in Bali, this was by far the cleanest room we'd had. Villa Faris is tucked into a beautiful garden with a lovely pool and good breakfast. It's in the heart of the village, yet only a short walk from the beach for snorkeling and diving, and from the wonderful restaurants along the shore. A staff member met us at the harbor and helped carry our luggage by bicycle through the village alleyways. You can hear calls to prayer from the different mosques, and we found the sound melodic and soothing. We look forward to coming back.

The owners were the best part, always ready to help. We stayed three nights and they offered us a snorkeling tour where we saw turtles and lots of fish. They also helped us book the boat back to Bali. Great pool and rooms, everything was very clean, and breakfast was delicious.
