It’s a very quiet spot, with only bicycles and horse carts passing by, and there are little markets and pubs nearby. The beach is beautiful, and you can spot turtles while snorkelling, though you’ll want reef shoes. Our upstairs room was fantastic, with a lovely balcony, bathroom, and cupboard. There’s no safe, kettle, or hairdryer, but you don’t need them. The manager brings you a cup of tea in the morning, and there’s an outdoor restaurant right across from the resort. I’d highly recommend it.

You can have breakfast on the beach loungers, and if you’re lucky, you might see turtles while snorkelling. The room and balcony are both fantastic. It’s a wonderful dream location right in front of the beach, with everything you need.

I couldn’t stay on the island for long, which was a shame, because this is a beautiful place with service that really satisfied me. The staff were friendly, and the food was cheap and delicious. I had a truly enjoyable time and hope I can come back one day and get the same warm service.

I didn’t feel comfortable staying here or in this location as a solo traveller, and I was glad to leave. The property felt run down, and the reception man said at check-in that they had a pool but all the tiles were broken. My room was dark and musty, with the wardrobe in the bathroom. Whenever I showered, the water stopped and I’d wait 5-10 minutes, hoping it would come back. There were no phones, and I couldn’t go from the back of the property to reception in just a towel to ask for help. Rain leaked through the roof into the bedroom. The mosquito nets were old and barely closed around the bed, and it was very dark walking back at night. The beach outside seemed the worst along the North Strip, bushy and dirty. I feel the good reviews may be because of the turtles.
