We arrived to find no receptionist or other staff, and several guests were waiting to check in too. After hours without any help, we had to check ourselves in and go straight to our rooms. The room was filthy, including the bedsheets, and I had to plug in the air conditioner myself. Then the power stayed off all night. This was a very disappointing stay and absolutely not worth the price. I wouldn’t recommend it.

The pool was advertised, but it was dry and unusable. At night, noise from nearby bars and the mosque made things worse. I also wouldn’t recommend this place to others, and other booking platform reviews seem to share similar views. The room itself felt neglected and overdue for renovation. It was dusty even after the cleaners had tried, and there was no running water when I arrived, so I had to use the bathroom at another hotel some distance away. Back in my room, I found ants in the bed, the bathroom floor was dirty, the door wouldn’t lock securely, and the air conditioning didn’t work. The staff did try to respond to the problems, but the room and facilities were still in poor shape. It didn’t feel worth the cost, and the stay came with far too many hassles.

We were left waiting for more than an hour after arriving, with no word from management. The property then moved us twice before telling us they couldn’t find our booking, even though it was confirmed. I heard from other travelers that they’d faced similar problems. The management seemed overwhelmed and, to me, more focused on making money than on guests having a good stay. I also heard unsettling rumors that the owner often depends on new boyfriends from abroad to fund her ventures. That might explain why expansion seems to get more attention than service, though I can’t verify the rumors. The whole experience felt unprofessional and poorly managed. I’d be cautious about booking here and would consider somewhere else.

We paid 150 AUD for three nights, and ended up in a badly cleaned room that smelled awful from the bathroom and had poor air conditioning. It was nothing like what we’d booked, and we were understandably frustrated. The power kept cutting out when we used a socket, and the next day there was no water at all, so the toilet, shower, and sink wouldn’t work. It started with no reception or staff when we arrived, and the accommodation was still being built. A worker called someone for us, and after 40 minutes a man arrived and said we’d all be moved to a hotel down the road. Ten minutes later, we met a man called Mr breadly, who asked us to wait while he contacted his boss Called Christine Yoni Taha. Another half hour later, he said he could check us into a similar place nearby. After another five-minute walk, we reached the third and final place, “ilalang village gili trawangan”, opposite a field of rubbish. They said reception could help if we needed anything. When I asked for Mr breadly there, he was nowhere to be found. The next day, I asked to speak to him or his boss, but was told he’d gone to lombok and she was on a plane. I made a complaint through agoda, but haven’t got anywhere because Mr. Breadly or Christine Yani taha have ignored several calls and emails from agoda and me. Terrible accommodation and even worse customer service. Avoid booking here. We paid 150 AUD for a bad experience!

There was dust everywhere, ants on the bed, spiders, and a moldy smell throughout. The place was filthy, and the bathroom couldn’t be used. That smell made the whole place feel dangerous and harmful to our health. We left without even putting our backpacks down and had to find somewhere else. Shameful, and a big scam. Shame on you!
