The rooms are simple but clean, and the complimentary breakfast tasted great. There are a few choices, and I especially liked the banana pancakes and local coffee. The location worked well: about a ten-minute walk from the jetty, near the lively shops but tucked away enough to stay quiet at night.

The staff were really nice, and the rooms had plenty of space.

Really nice.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was good. We stayed in a standard bungalow, which had enough equipment for the price, plus air conditioning and reliable hot water, something that isn't so common in Indonesia. The water pressure could be better. If you're happy to pay more, deluxe rooms are available too. All in all, we had an excellent stay at Melati Garden.
10/10
It's comfortable, right in the center and very close to public services. The best.
