Serene Beach Villa

Simply awful. There was black mold on the ceiling and walls, and everything felt damp. Water dripped from the AC. Staff wiped it up with a rug, then took the rug away and never brought it back. The kettle had leftover water, and the spoons and mug were dirty. In the bathroom, there was a whole ant family beside the toilet. Breakfast was supposed to be included, but after seeing the hygiene, we skipped it. My worst experience. Nothing like the pictures.

The location was perfect, near good restaurants and the beachfront where you can watch the sunset. It’s also really quiet, which is a bonus on a party island. The room was beautiful, clean, nicely decorated, and a good size, with a comfy bed and a shower with good pressure. The pool was beautiful and clean, and the staff were helpful and friendly. It looked even better than the photos. I’ll definitely come back. Thanks, Dinn, for the hospitality!

The location felt idyllic, away from the crowds but still close to everything, and the breakfast was amazing. Our room was spacious, spotless, well maintained, and had everything we needed. Morteza helped us while we were still on the boat to Gili and made sure the trip went smoothly. After we arrived, the Serene Beach team made all our stress disappear. It truly felt like paradise, and we’ll definitely return.

We arrived without big expectations and left feeling recharged, as if we’d made a friend. Morteza has a rare warmth and wisdom, and it was lovely hearing his stories. More than anything, he sincerely wants people to enjoy themselves. He told us the place had been somewhat neglected and that the previous management hadn’t been great. Now that he’s back as owner, his vision and dedication are bringing Serene Beach Villa back to life, and our stay went far beyond what we expected. Ari was just as lovely, always ready to help us feel comfortable. We stayed in the luxury room, with beach views and a private outdoor bathroom. It was beautiful. The accommodation is astonishing, and the whole property is much quieter than other places on the island. There’s a private beach with the most stunning sunset we could imagine. This place has real soul, and we’ll definitely return. See you soon, my friends!
